Research Provenance
The AnubisX Framework was conceived and developed by Ahmed Awad as independent research conducted outside formal academic institutions. The work represents a systematic effort to establish behavioral digital attribution as a rigorous formal discipline, drawing on foundations from computational stylometry, digital forensics, information theory, and formal epistemology. The research proceeded from the observation that existing attribution methodologies lacked a unified formal foundation, leading to the development of a comprehensive axiomatic system, a formal mathematical framework, and a complete algorithmic catalog. The project was conducted under the principle of open science — all framework components, experimental results, limitations, and source code are publicly documented and released under permissive licensing.

- Behavioral Digital Attribution as a Formal Discipline. First complete formalization of behavioral digital attribution as a systematic scientific discipline with axiomatic foundations, formal mathematical language, and pre-specified validation methodologies.
- Cognitive Centroid Theory. Novel theoretical model of behavioral identity as an asymptotic attractor in high-dimensional feature space, providing formal mechanisms for reasoning about identity from incomplete or uncertain evidence.
- Formal Axiomatic System (16 axioms). Complete axiomatic foundation comprising 16 axioms organized into 6 groups — Identity, Behavior, Observation, Evidence, Comparison, and Decision — governing all framework operations.
- Mathematical Framework (292 objects). Comprehensive formal mathematical system with 292 objects across 24 categories including vector spaces, metric spaces, probability spaces, transformation operators, and evidence combinators.
- Algorithm Catalog (37 algorithms). Systematic catalog of 37 algorithms spanning 9 domains and 5 behavioral modalities, providing a complete computational methodology for behavioral attribution.
- Six-Layer Architecture. Hierarchical architectural design with formally specified interfaces between Data Acquisition, Feature Extraction, Profile Construction, Comparison Engine, Evidence Aggregation, and Decision Output layers.
- Validation Infrastructure (31 criteria). Pre-specified four-tier validation framework with 31 a priori acceptance criteria ensuring transparent and rigorous evaluation of all framework components.
Design Philosophy
The AnubisX Framework was guided by five core design principles that shaped every aspect of its development:
- Formal Rigor. All framework components must be grounded in formal mathematical and logical foundations. Every definition, operation, and claim must be precisely specified and internally consistent.
- Modularity. The framework is organized into independent but interoperable components — axioms, theory, mathematics, algorithms, architecture, validation — each with well-defined interfaces and minimal coupling.
- Transparency. Complete documentation of all framework components, including limitations, failure modes, unvalidated claims, and TBD elements. No aspect of the framework is hidden or obfuscated.
- Generalizability. The framework is designed to be modality-agnostic, platform-agnostic, and language-agnostic, supporting any form of behavioral evidence across any digital environment.
- Open Science. All framework documentation, source code, experimental data, and validation results are publicly accessible under open licenses, enabling independent verification, replication, and extension.
