The AnubisX Framework has been developed through a systematic research program spanning multiple years. This timeline documents the complete development process from initial conception through formalization, implementation, and public release, providing a transparent record of the project's intellectual and technical evolution.
2024 — Foundation
Q3: Initial Concept
The core idea of a formal framework for behavioral digital attribution was conceived. Preliminary exploration of existing attribution methodologies revealed the absence of a unified formal foundation, motivating the development of a comprehensive axiomatic approach.
Q4: Literature Review & Problem Formalization
Extensive review of computational stylometry, digital forensics, and identity resolution literature. The fundamental research gaps were identified and formalized, leading to the initial problem statement and research objectives.
2025 — Formalization
Q1: Theory Formation
Development of Cognitive Centroid Theory began, establishing the conceptual framework for modeling behavioral identity as an asymptotic attractor in high-dimensional feature space.
Q2: Mathematical Formalization
The formal mathematical framework was constructed, defining 292 mathematical objects across 24 categories. The axiomatic system comprising 16 axioms in 6 groups was completed.
Q3: Algorithm Design
Design and specification of 37 algorithms spanning all five behavioral modalities — stylometric, chrono-profiling, terminal profiling, network analysis, and media forensics — organized into 9 domains.
Q4: Architecture Design
The six-layer architecture was designed: Data Acquisition, Feature Extraction, Profile Construction, Comparison Engine, Evidence Aggregation, and Decision Output, with formal interfaces between all layers.
2026 — Implementation & Release
Q1: Prototype Development
Development of the open-source prototype (Anubis Twitter) began, implementing the stylometric modality. The validation infrastructure with 31 acceptance criteria across four tiers was specified.
Q2: Experiments & Validation
Conducted 15 experiments on 31 Egyptian Twitter accounts to empirically validate the stylometric modality. Results demonstrated feasibility while transparently documenting limitations and failure modes.
Q3: Documentation & Release
Comprehensive documentation of the complete framework — theory, mathematics, algorithms, architecture, and validation — was completed. The AnubisX Framework was publicly released under CC BY 4.0 license.
